RSF Commander Arrives to Addis Ababa
Earlier this morning, Rapid Support Forces (RSF) Commander, General Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo arrived in Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia, where he was met by the deputy prime minister.
Amid an official reception ceremony, General Dagalo was welcomed at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport by Ethiopian Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Minister Demeke Mekonnen and several state officials.
Upon his arrival, General Dagalo held talks with the deputy prime minister, addressing the recent developments in Sudan and his efforts to bring a swift end to the war and restore peace and stability in the country.
He also expressed his gratitude to the Ethiopian government and people for their solidarity with the Sudanese people and for hosting those displaced by the war. He underscored that Ethiopia has always stood by the people of Sudan due to the deep-seated historical relations between the two countries.
Meanwhile, the deputy prime minister welcomed General Dagalo to Ethiopia and indicated his hope that the war in Sudan will end soon and stability will quickly return to the country.
General Dagalo's visit is part of a tour that includes several sister nations and friendly countries to explain the situation in Sudan.
